Pre-employment Health Assessments


These assessments meet the needs of recruitment at all levels of the business. They are used by employers to establish that a candidate's health is sufficient to perform the proposed work prior to the start of employment and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

 

The service is available as:

·        Low-cost Postal or Online Health Questionnaires screened remotely

·        Physical Assessments conducted by a Qualified Nurse and/or Physician

·        On-site via mobile assessments units or at local approved medical centres

How does it work?

·         A conditional offer will be made to the employee and will be asked to complete a pre-employment health questionnaire either online or paper based, confidentially and returned to Absencecare

·         The questionnaire is then reviewed by our clinical team

·         A Fit for Work report is issued to management/ HR

·        If necessary the employee is asked to attend a pre-employment medical assessment.

·         A report is requesting from their treating doctor and is then provided to management/ HR indicating fitness for work and giving appropriate advice.
