Absence Management Audits
Absencecare conducts independent assessments of absence management and occupational health practices for the management teams of UK businesses.
Audits are typically based around the following objectives:
- To map the end to end absence management process
- To detail current OH practices (including health and safety at work)
- To identify areas for improvement and compliance shortcomings
- To identify areas for cost reduction
Approach and Methodology
Absencecare’s consultants and occupational health specialists will review current practice through document and process review, stakeholder interviews and on-site assessment. From this we will collate a final report and presentation for delivery to the client senior management. The initial part of the process usually involves 2 days where Absencecare works on-site with the client team.
Deliverables
This exercise will document and map current practices and procedures within both absence management and OH provision. The end report will also highlight strengths and weaknesses of the existing process, assess the quality of existing managerial practice, and benchmark against recognised best practice in the industry.
